For our second Disney Family Movie Night, we watched Disney/Pixar's Cars.
bling
The kids put on some "body art" from Ramone's before dinner. I got the great Ramone's logo from So Wonderful, So Marvelous.
dinner
Our Flo's V8 Cafe menu. Print our menu here.
Dinner was The King's supersized burgers, Chick Hick's Chicken Sticks, Mater's Sweet 'Tater Fries, "Mack" and Cheese, Sally's Salad, and Doc's Carrot "dipsticks".
We topped off our fluids with Fillmore's Organic Fuel (apple juice) and Dinoco Oil (chocolate milk). I got that great Fillmore logo from So Wonderful, So Marvelous. Feel free to print both drink labels from here.
dessert
For dessert we enjoyed Lightning McQueen race-cars. The strawberry represents his tongue. lol
Oh no! McQueen blew a tire (or 3)!
fun & games
After dinner we used our "road" table runner to play balloon cars.
The winner(s) got their very own Piston Cup with a little chocolate inside.
pit stop snacks
Our movie snacks were Luigi's Tires...
...Cozy Cones of Popcorn...
...and Sarge's Survival Trail Mix.
Want to use my signs? You can find them here.

DeleteThis party is fabulous. I'll bet the kids just loved it. Props for creating such a fun night for them! And a HUGE thanks for sharing your ideas!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to make some huge interstate/traffic signs like those you posted over the table for my boys' Cars birthday next week. Did you make those yourself, or was it something you found online or in a party store? I'd love it if you could shoot me back a quick reply! bebedulcemobiles@gmail.com Thanks!
-Annie
I bought the signs on both ebay and at garage sales. I'd had them for years, as we'd done our son's playroom in a "car" theme before my daughter was born. A perfect example as to why I never throw anything away. ;)
DeleteI'm doing a round-up of Car related party ideas on Disney Baby - would you mind if I used one of your photos and linked back to your blog?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Janssen
Sure Janssen! I'd love to see the finished product!
